Ben pushes his powers to the max when Vilgax challenges him to a battle where winner takes all – including the Earth! The eighth volume of “Ben 10 Alien Force” is pretty much the same as all the other DVDs starring the Omnitrix-wielding Ben, the magically-powered Gwen, and the now-mutated Kevin in 6 episodes on this DVD.
In one of the episodes, Ben actually helps Vilgax (no, seriously !) defend his planet against an army of Ghostfreaks. (Remember Ghostfreak ?) And of course, “Alien Force” DVD would not be complete without an Alien Database that gives you specs on the certain alien heroes and villains as seen in the series.
If you like Ben and the way he transform into cool creatures like Swampfire, Humongousaur, and others, then I’m sure you’ll get this, plus keeping an eye out for more new episodes of “Ben 10 Ultimate Alien” on TV and even online with missions involving Ben in Cartoon Network’s FusionFall game. Also, look for the ninth and final volume coming to DVD soon !

Ben 10 Ultimate Alien features another incarnation of the extraterrestrial battling teen Ben Tennyson, who continues his fight with the help of a new device, the Ultimatrix, in this collection of 10 episodes from its debut season. Now 16 and a worldwide celebrity thanks to his adventures, the Ultimate Alien Ben finds a new enemy in Aggregor, a renegade alien bent on tracking down five monsters whose combined powers will make an unstoppable force. With the help of the Ultimatrix, which allows his alien forms to become bigger and stronger, and pals Gwen and Kevin, Ben attempts to head off the rampaging creatures before Aggregor can claim them for his own, while contending with robot foes (“Video Games”), the Forever Knights (“Duped,” “Andreas’ Fault”), and Captain Nemesis (“Hero Time”). The new wrinkles introduced to the Ben 10 formula with Ultimate Alien are mostly positive–the Ultimate versions of his alien forms are exciting, and the Aggregor plot line gives the show some dramatic heft and consistency. Making Ben an international celebrity feels a little silly, but most younger viewers probably won’t balk at its addition.

I got this for my 5-year-old son to wear for Halloween. The first one that was sent to us was ripped after having been worn for an hour. Amazon was great about exchanging the costume for a new one. The new one seemed to be a little better made, but started ripping after the first wearing also. My son loves to dress up in costumes over and over again, especially Star Wars ones…after only wearing it a few times it has quite a few holes. The material is very delicate and even if being extremely careful with it, it will rip. The belt is also HUGE. It almost wraps around his waist twice, but nothing a little duct tape couldn’t fix. He loves the costume and it looks cute, but it’s really terribly made.

Portal 2 is a unique first-person Action-Puzzle-Platforming game that tests player’s ability to think and act creatively as they use the game’s ingenious wormhole creating portal gun to produce their own paths through otherwise sealed surfaces and across the open spaces of the game. Sequel to the original Portal game — the surprise add-on hit included in Valve Corporation’s 2007 release The Orange Box – Portal 2 continues the storyline from the first game, featuring both new and returning characters, and poses a range of new challenges making for a much deeper game. Additional features include a new two player co-op mode and an original soundtrack.
In Portal 2 players awake in the Aperture Science Labs as Chell, the heroine of the original game. A great expanse of time has passed since the conclusion of the first game and the gameworld has fallen into visible disrepair, but placed in suspended animation, Chell has survived intact and is revived. With the help of a robotic entity the concluding events of the past game are revealed and you escape your initial confinement, but in doing so GLaDOS, the the AI computer antagonist from the previous game is also reawakened. Just as fickle as ever, GLaDOS’ motives are unknown. Insisting on testing you, it may assist you but may also be planning something more sinister.
Like the original game, Portal 2 is a first-person Platform-Puzzle game. In the single player campaign players assume the role of Chell, a former test subject trying to gain her freedom from the Aperture Science facility and GLaDOS, the AI controller of the facility. Set in the test chambers of the facility your goal is to make your way through the game levels using your portal gun (the Aperture Science Hand-held Portal Device). The portal gun creates temporary passages through solid surfaces, allowing for creative platforming and multiple possible means of clearing a level. The game also requires the player to solve puzzles at times to clear sections of levels. In addition to point-to-point movement through portals, players can also utilize other means of movement of themselves and various objects. These include: using the momentum of portal movement to make jumps to open positions like ledges; tractor beams; and special propulsion/repulsion gels that can be carried or stored.
Portal 2 contains a multiplayer option in the form of a two-player co-op mode. This is playable both locally and online, with split-screen functionality available in local play and in select places during online play. Players assume the role of one of two robotic characters, Atlas or P-body, both new to the franchise. These two have separated from the control of GLaDOS and so must survive its anger, divvied out in the form puzzles, obstacles and misdirection. Each player has control of their own portal gun, which they use to platform through the game levels, avoiding its dangers and relying on each other.

Ben 10 DVD Game - Featuring clips from the hit Cartoon Network show, this DVD game lets players master the powers of 10 different aliens. In this new TV-promoted game, move along the virtual game board and test your skills in exciting mini-games. Fourarms will take you through the strength game, Heatblast will test you on fire skills and there’s many surprises along the way including some nasty villians.
The game has some fun interactive activities. The only thing that makes it difficult is as you progress on the TV game board you need to collect 13 Aliens and the game continually takes them away as you land on other spaces. We have played for an hour and only been able to get up to 4 Aliens, don’t see how you could ever finish.

My son wanted this battleship most for Christmas. He does play with it, but it falls apart all the time in several different areas. The activities on the ship like the sumo wrestling and the Ben 10 skate ramp seem like a waste. Why not just make a solid, durable ship without the extra junk? My son only uses it as the ship without the extras.
A nice plus is that the Ben 10 figure does fit perfectly into the driver’s seat of another Ben 10 toy, Upgrade. However, the clear Ben 10 figure with the ship makes no sense whatsoever, nor does not including Vilgax on the Vilgax Battleship.
